The Filling Station
Welcome!
The Filling Station in Box, offers a relaxing and informal place to be refreshed by the Spirit of God, receive helpful Biblical teaching and enjoy worship to live music. Anyone can join us for worship, teaching and ministry and you will be very warmly welcomed to any of our Services.
There is a different speaker at each meeting, a worship band and prayer ministry. The informal evenings are open to everyone, including those who might not regard themselves as Christians. Fresh coffee and muffins are available throughout the evening.
The café style meetings are held in the Methodist Church in Box village, and occur twice a month on the 2nd & 4th Tuesday nights at 7.30pm.
The forerunner to The Filling Station started in 2002. We then received a number of enquiries from around the country from Churches looking to do something similar and in 2009 a Filling Station Trust was established to grow the format established in Box. Two members of the Box Filling Station team set up the Trust but the Box Filling Station is not part of the Trust structure and continues, as we have always been, as an independent ecumenical venture run by the Parish Church and the Methodist Church in the village of Box and responsible to the Church leaders in Box. We continue to seek the Holy Spirit’s guidance for the way forward.
You will find the Trust’s web site at www.thefillingstation.org.uk
